Since it was built in the 1600's, it has welcomed people who are traveling, summer
resorting and hunting.
In the 17th and 18th centuries, many of the aristocracy, beginning with a Milan
noble family, Visconti, had their resort houses nearby. It was a lively neighborhood.
Time passed. In Dec,1976, this old Inn was chosen for a restaurant by Ezio Santin.
This simple and elegant house has been since brought once again to the fore.
Ezio Santin was originally a manager dealing with food products and wine in Gastronomi.
Though he had no formal training or experience in running a restaurant, he tried
out the food in fine restaurants from one place to another and polished his taste.
That was the base for the new start of ANTICA OSTERIA DEL PONTE.
He has continuously enriched and stimulated the world of Italian cuisine with
his creative and high quality menus.

The herbal and vegetable fields stretched out behind the restaurant reflect his
passion for selecting the very best materials.
